Top Tropical Vacation Destinations

Top Tropical Vacation Destinations-Bondi Joe Swimwear

Many people love the beach, but only some get the opportunity to live somewhere warm and tropical year-round. That's why most people make a bucket list of destinations they hope to visit one day! If you're a beach bum and are looking for some bucket list inspiration, you've come to the right place! We've picked out just five of the many, many coastal destinations that are worth the trip. The places we are about to discuss are in no particular order because we can't possibly rank them when they're all so perfect!

Bora Bora

Bora Bora is the most celebrated island of French Polynesia. Thousands of people flock to Bora Bora each year for vacations, excursions, and honeymoons! Bora Bora is one of the top honeymoon destinations because it is so stunning and has some of the best resorts in the world. The most popular lodging on the island is the overwater bungalow with incredible views of the crystal clear water. All of the beaches of French Polynesia are absolutely incredible, and it's no wonder why they are often bucket list destinations. While you'll be perfectly content just enjoying the stunning views of Bora Bora, there's actually a lot you can experience on the island! Like other islands of French Polynesia, there's no shortage of lush vegetation and exotic wildlife. The most popular activities on the island are water-based for obvious reasons. You can take boat tours, cruise and dine, snorkel, and more! If you're lucky, you may even spot a manta ray!

Turks and Caicos

Turks and Caicos is no stranger to bucket lists around the globe! There are six main islands of Turks and Caicos, and they are all so luxurious that we had to include them all! If you want to experience a little bit of everything on your tropical vacation, Turks and Caicos is the place for you! Every island has stunning turquoise waters filled with sea life. You can go fishing, snorkeling, boating, or sunbathing to your heart's content! If you want a break from the water, you can also go golfing, shopping, or check out the local bars and eateries. Try your luck at casinos or join us for an island fish fry! Each island of Turks and Caicos offers its own unique gifts, so whichever one you decide to visit will be the experience of a lifetime! Kaua'i, Hawaii

Your ideal tropical destination could be closer than you think! If you live in the US, you have one right at home! Kaua'i, Hawaii is always making lists for being a top beach location. Kaua'i is Hawaii's fourth-largest, oldest, and northernmost island. Kaua'i is referred to as "The Garden Island" because of its lush tropical rainforests and unending vegetation. There are sharp mountains and jagged cliffs formed over time by the elements. As a result, you can find some incredible waterfalls all throughout the island. There are so many fun activities to try if you ever find yourself on this spectacular island. Of course, the beach and the ocean are the stars of the show, but there's an activity for everyone to love! You can kayak on the Wailua River, go snorkeling, hike through incredible trails, go ziplining through the trees, or enjoy a nice day out in the small towns.

Mahe Island, The Seychelles Islands

Mahe Island is one of the Seychelles Islands in the Indian Ocean. It's actually the largest and the main island of the 115 in the "family!" Though it's the largest island, it's actually quite small. Mahe Island is roughly 17 miles long and only 3 miles wide! Tuna fish is caught in bulk off Mahe Island and is canned on-site. Parts of Mahe Island are teeming with flora and fauna that are not found anywhere else in the world! Mahe is even home to some endangered species including the Jellyfish Tree. As with the other tropical destinations we've discussed thus far, Mahe is known for its water activities and luxury seaside resorts! There are shops to visit when you need a break from the ocean (if you ever do!), and there are many fantastic local restaurants serving fresh-caught seafood. For a more remote experience, check out the rest of the Seychelles Islands. You can even make it an extended trip and spend one or two days on each island! Fiji

Lastly, you should definitely consider adding Fiji to your coastal bucket list. Fiji is actually comprised of 333 separate islands! Like with Turks and Caicos, we couldn't pick just one! As you would imagine, there are pros and cons to each island, but the pros list is always much larger! The beaches of Fiji are picturesque and perfect, making them a very popular vacation and honeymoon destination. You can go shopping at local stores, try the islands' delicious eateries, participate in family-friendly activities, and, of course, enjoy the water! Fiji is a popular destination for surfers because the waves can get large and powerful. If you aren't ready to try surfing you can rent boats, take tours, go on hikes, snorkel with sea life, and more! Fiji is full of exciting things to do and places to see. You'll love it so much that you'll want to visit some of the other islands as well! You'll have a fantastic time and feel welcomed by the friendly residents of the islands.
